Training Course with The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics
By the cooperation between Stars of Hope Society and The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) a workshop about the statistical knowledge and building abilities for observing the Millennium Developmental Goals in the Palestinian Authority was held on 7th and 8th July 2008. 13 women with different disabilities from several cities of the west bank participated in the training course. The workshop was held in our office, the lectures were given by specialized working person from the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistical. The aim of the training was to give the women an idea about The Millennium Developmental Goals and its indicators, observing and evaluating the general policies of any society, and some Characteristics of MDGs indicators. At the end of the training, an evaluation for the workshop done by the women for the PCBS. And the participants were given certifications from the PCBS.
