On 28th, July, 2008 Stars of Hope Society Held a focus group meeting in Nablus, at Hamdi Menko Hall for eleven women with physical, hearing and vision disabilities. The meeting included three sessions; the first one was giving the women a brief idea about our society mission, objectives and activities. The second session was an open discussion about their main needs and interests, and the challenges they face in Nablus area. The main challenges they face were presence of Hwara Checkpoint at the entrance of Nablus which add extra difficulties in moving out of Nablus, poor accessibility public governmental organizations, and absence of specialized practitioner to rehabilitate persons with visual disabilities. The third session was filling the questionnaires of our research by the group in order to measure validity and reliability for it.
